3 Continuing Education Credits
A certificate of course credit will be awarded at the completion of the full 3 hour session, a posttest, and a course evaluation.
Psychologists: The Family Institute, Inc. (Provider #1778) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Family Institute maintains responsibility for this program and its content. The Family Institute is offering this activity for 3.0 contact hours of continuing education credits. Full attendance is required; no partial credit will be offered for partial attendance.
Counselors: The Family Institute, Inc. has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6280. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credits are clearly identified. The Family Institute, Inc. is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Pennsylvania Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors: The Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors will recognize and accept continuing education programs that are sponsored by providers approved by the APA, NBCC and the ASWB. This course will qualify for 3.0 credits. Full attendance is required. variable credits may not be awarded per the Pennsylvania State Board.
Social Workers: The Family Institute (ACE Approval #1165) is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards, www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) Program. The Family Institute maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 3/26/15-3/26/18. Social Workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits. Social Workers participating in this course will receive 3 continuing education credits. Course Level: Intermediate. A certificate of attendance will be awarded at the end of the program to social workers who complete posttest and program evaluation.
Addiction Counselors:
The Family Institute is an approved provider of continuing education by NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC). CE credits provided will be accepted toward national credentialing by the NAADAC/National Certification Commission (NCC).(Provider #625)
